We just wrapped up an incredible 2,000-mile trip through Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming in Michael’s Winnebago Revel 44e, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience from start to finish.The Outdoorsy app made the whole process effortless, booking, communication, and pickup were all seamless. Michael was fantastic to work with: responsive, friendly, and genuinely accommodating every step of the way. He took the time to walk us through everything and made sure we felt confident before we hit the road.The Revel itself was the ideal size for our route, nimble enough to handle the switchbacks of the Beartooth Highway, comfortable enough for long highway stretches across Big Sky country, and perfectly equipped for both campgrounds and remote boondocking spots. It truly is the perfect on-or-off-the-grid camper for a couple. Everything worked exactly as it should, and we had all the comforts of home while still being able to chase the wild places.If you’re considering renting from Michael, don’t hesitate. Michael was a great host and helped make us feel comfortable from the very beginning. Leading up to the trip Michael was very communicative about pickup and was able to accommodate our pickup at our hotel since we had so many bags and a tight turnaround after our elopement the day before. After a quick tutorial, we were off. We had one minor thing come up while we were on our trip and Michael responded immediately to help troubleshoot. We had a such a memorable trip and the ability to boondock and still have amenities like a bathroom, shower, and hot water made the whole experience that much enjoyable and flexible. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent another van from Michael in the future.

There isn’t enough room to brag about Michael! We literally got off the plane, walked out the door and there he was with keys in hand. He gave us a tour and demo of the van and left us a manual he made himself on how to use the equipment. Really made for a flawless trip. We had power and water when no one else did in Yellowstone. You cannot run a generator after 8 in the park, but we could – because it was an all electric, silent, generator system. The van also made it quick and easy to see so much more than we thought we would be able to. You can park it anywhere and walk right up to a point of interest and then be on to the next spot. Definitely going to do this again!
